It was a big surprise, I thought it was just the rumor mill working overtime during the past few weeks since we have no racing to talk about.

If Vettel can’t take a spot at Mercedes or McLaren I think he’ll retire.

I think he'd go to McLaren before Renault but my first thought is the same as yours. He's a family man, won his championships, etc
